“SUNSET BEACH, NC (WWAY) — To aid those severely affected by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina, Ingram Planetarium is set to host Elton John’s Laser Show, Rocket Man, on three separate occasions.
The shows are scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 6 at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., and again on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 5 p.m.
The planetarium has pledged to donate all proceeds to World Central Kitchen, a non-profit and non-governmental organization. World Central Kitchen is dedicated to providing fresh meals during humanitarian, climate, and community crises and has been active on the ground in Asheville to offer aid since early this week.
