DELCO, N.C. (WECT) – Law enforcement officials have apprehended 47-year-old Lance Arrington Sandlin from Delco, charging him with the murder of a woman who vanished in May 2024.
Sandlin was arrested on Monday evening and is currently being held without bond in connection with the murder of 38-year-old Shanna Denise Perry, also from Delco.
An investigation into Perry’s disappearance kicked off in May 2024. Despite extensive search efforts and hundreds of man-hours devoted to finding her, Shanna Perry remains missing as of tonight. According to a post on their Facebook page, the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office has received assistance from the NC State Bureau of Investigation and will continue searching for Shanna.
Authorities have indicated that multiple individuals may have been involved in Perry’s disappearance, and additional arrests could occur as the investigation continues.
