Brunswick County, (WWAY) – As Hurricane Helene advances, Brunswick County schools and offices have chosen to remain closed this Friday. This includes students and staff members alike.
Furthermore, the county has declared Friday as a non-mandatory work day for employees. All sports events scheduled for Friday will be postponed due to the hazardous weather conditions.
In light of these changes, October 21, 2024, which was previously set as a teacher workday, will now serve as a day of instruction for students and staff.
