**Alison Cheng Resigns from New Hanover Community Endowment**

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Alison Cheng, the Programs and Operations Coordinator for the New Hanover Community Endowment (NHCE), has resigned, as confirmed by former NHCE staff member Kevin Maurer.

According to the endowment’s website, Cheng played a key role as the Programs and Operations Coordinator while also providing support to the board of directors. She graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Creative Writing. Cheng’s professional background spans various sectors, including finance, public relations, and government contracting. Since joining the NHCE in 2021, she has focused on strengthening the endowment’s internal infrastructure and maintaining engagement with the community.
