Title: “Exciting Lineup Revealed for the 30th Annual Cucalorus Film Festival in Downtown Wilmington”

The schedule for the 30th edition of the Cucalorus Film Festival has been officially released, unveiling a diverse lineup of screenings and events set to take place in downtown Wilmington from November 20 to 24 at various locations such as Jengo’s Playhouse and Thalian Hall. This year’s festival is described as a nostalgic gathering, featuring beloved acts like Shirley Gnome, Roxana Barba, and Alexandra Tatarsky presenting new works in the Filmmakers Lounge designed in a cabaret style. Several short film blocks are scheduled to be showcased on the prestigious main stage at Thalian Hall, reminiscent of the festival’s inception when 16 short films were featured. Noteworthy highlights of the festival include the highly anticipated Friday Night feature, “Operation Taco Gary’s,” filmed locally in North Carolina last year and starring Simon Rex, who will be in attendance at the festival, according to Dan Brawley, the Chief Instigating Officer of Cucalorus. The detailed film schedule can be accessed on cucalorus.eventive.org/schedule, with all-access Pegasorus passes currently available for purchase until supplies last.
