The Wilmington Fire Department swiftly responded to a house fire incident in Wilmington on Tuesday night. As per the WFD reports, shift crews received a call regarding a structure fire at an unoccupied residence on Manly Ave. During a search of the property, firefighters discovered an individual inside the house and successfully assisted them to safety.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries resulting from the fire. Following a thorough investigation, authorities determined that the cause of the blaze was accidental, originating from the improper disposal of smoking materials within the premises.
