“WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A homicide that took place near Wilshire Boulevard on Wednesday morning is under investigation by the Wilmington Police Department.
WPD has disclosed that officers were summoned to the 4000 block of Wilshire Boulevard following a report of an unconscious person. Upon their arrival, they discovered a 22-year-old who had been tragically shot near an apartment complex, the individual was already deceased from his injuries.
The investigation continues, with WPD urging anyone possessing information related to the incident to contact them at (910) 343-3600, or to share details anonymously through the Tip 411 app.”
